The tourist licence in Spain is a compulsory declaration that allows owners to rent out their property for tourist purposes or for short term rentals of less than 3 months.

This licence is necessary to be able to list a property for rent on any physical or online portals such as AIRBNB, Booking.com, etc

The application must be made directly to the Junta de Andalucía and once obtained is valid for a lifetime period.
